I am the mother and part of a large support team to Cavyn who is 11. His sister Elliana is often seen at the events and is super excited to be able to be an official "helper" when she turns 8 in December. I am a nurse working in Minneapolis so I attend as many practices and events as life allows. I have been just loving every minute of special olympics as I have seen my shy, slightly clumsy son blossom into a social butterfly and a confident athlete.
